Between six and nine many bars charge a bit more for the drink and the food comes with it: a buffet or plates that keep arriving. One drink feeds you properly for what a starter costs in a restaurant. Navigli and Brera are where it is done best. It is not a tourist trick, it is what Milanese do on a weeknight.
💡Book the Last Supper months ahead, not days
Only twenty-five people go in every fifteen minutes, so there are very few slots a day and they vanish the moment sales open. If Milan is your trip and you want to see it, buy that ticket BEFORE the flight and build the rest around it. If it is gone, do not pay a reseller: the church is free and the Castello holds Michelangelo's last work.
