Two days without leaving the two islands joined by tunnel, which is what makes it fit: day one Tórshavn and the village of Kirkjubøur, with its fourteenth-century cathedral ruins; day two, on Vágar, the Gásadalur waterfall dropping into the sea and lake Sørvágsvatn, which from one angle appears to float above the ocean.
Tap a point to see which one it is and how to get there.
A suggestion, not a rule: once you create the trip you can split it up however you like.

💡Do not make a fixed plan: the weather will break it
There can be sun, fog, rain and wind within the same hour, and the boats to Mykines or Vestmanna are cancelled without warning when the sea is up. Book the excursions for the first days of the trip and keep the last ones spare. And if a day dawns clear, change the plan and go to whatever needs good weather: here you decide in the morning.
💡Nearly all the land is private and several paths charge a fee
This is not a national park: the fields belong to families who have been there for generations, and at Saksun, Sørvágsvatn and several viewpoints you pay a fee to the owner. These are not rip-offs but agreements reached after years of conflict over people crossing farms and leaving gates open. Stay on the marked routes and close the gates.
