The island end to end. In come Cofete, twelve kilometres of wild beach on the far side of the mountain up a dirt track, and Lobos islet, which needs a permit booked in advance and has a daily quota. Four days because the island is a hundred kilometres long.

💡It always blows here, and that changes everything
The wind is constant almost all year: that is why the island is a reference point for surfing and kiting, and why a sunbed by the sea can be uncomfortable while the hotel pool is glorious. It is not bad weather, it is what this place is. Bring long sleeves even at twenty-six degrees.
💡Your rental insurance does not cover dirt tracks
Cofete, some northern beaches and several viewpoints are reached on unpaved roads, and virtually every rental contract excludes them: if you puncture or break something there, you pay for all of it. Read that clause before you commit. For Cofete there is a bus from Morro Jable, which is the untroubled way to go.
