The town and the southwest: Dalt Vila, the sixteenth-century walled town that is a World Heritage Site, and Ses Salines on day one; on day two Cala Comte and sunset facing Es Vedrà from the Savinar tower.

A suggestion, not a rule: once you create the trip you can split it up however you like.

💡Buses do not reach the coves
The bus network links the main towns and the airport well, but the small coves are left out. If you want to see more than three beaches you need a car or a scooter, and in July and August you have to book weeks ahead because they genuinely run out.
💡May, June and September
In July and August the island quadruples: prices, queues and car parks full by ten in the morning. In May, June and September the water is already warm, the coves are walkable and everything costs a good deal less. October is lovely, but plenty of places have already closed.
